Hidden away on the banks of Lake Keowee our bees have over 75 undeveloped acres to forage on local, native vegetation. We got started beekeeping by rescuing a very small colony from a co-workers shed in March of 2023. By the winter of 2023 we had 3 strong hives which we successfully overwintered ,and are currently up to 10 strong, happy hives that have blessed us with an abundance of delicious honey. We simply extract, strain, and jar. We are constantly educating ourselves and others, on all things related to bees, and your purchase is re-invested in them. We hope you enjoy their 2024 honey as much as we do, and we thank you for your support.
Practices
We take a natural approach to caring for our bees, using organic treatments when necessary , that do not leave residue in the comb and we never feed “artificial “ pollen patties. Only pure white sugar for our bees! We also recommend using a wooden honey dipper or wooden spoon when enjoying your honey. Do not refrigerate.
