It started two years ago with a picture I found online, a borrowed saw, and the cheapest lumber I could get at the local big box store. I decided that for Christmas that year I would make our dogs a bed for them to lay in. A simple box thrust me into the world of woodworking and I haven't looked back. From custom furniture to smaller items like cutting boards and coasters I have made it all. After months of people encouraging me to share my work I have decided to start sharing it here.
Practices
All projects are made out of local lumber milled by a small business here in the upstate. I use traditional woodworking techniques on all of my builds. No wood in any project has been artificially colored or stained. What you see is the natural beauty of the wood itself. Using oils and waxes I strive to bring out the natural beauty of the wood to showcase what it has to offer.
