Looking at the unhealthy nutrition habits many Americans have acquired, we launched our efforts to provide fresh microgreens and gourmet mushrooms through our urban farm in Simpsonville. Our microgreens and mushrooms provide nutrients many people are lacking in their diets. There are many antioxidents and compounds contained in these vegetables and fungi which have been used for centuries for the health benefits they provide. We are always looking for healthy options which provide benefits for our customers.
We only use non-GMO seed and organic seed, when available. No chemical fertilizers or pesticides are used on our product. Our microgreens are grown indoors in soil so there may be traces of soil still on our product. Please remember to keep microgreens refrigerated and wash them gently before use. If you wash them and want to store them in the refrigerator, you need to let them dry. A paper towel in the bottom of the clamshell container will help extend the life of your greens by absorbing any excess condensation. Mushrooms should always be stored in the refrigerator in a paper bag.
